Turtles are Coming
In season November to March. Hatchlings emerge from the eggs January to March. Learn about the sea turtles at Mon Repos near Bundaberg and Bargara. Tours start at 6.30pm and bookings can be made at Coral Coast Information Centre, Bauer Street, Bargara. Charges apply.

Baldwin Swamp Environmental Park
situated in East Bundaberg, is a natural wetland which includes wildlife breeding areas and open parklands only three kilometres from the heart of the city. Walking tracks and boardwalks access the tea tree forest, vine scrub and lagoons. Free entry
Queen’s Park
Enter via Hope Street, West Bundaberg behind the Base Hospital. Originally a Botanical Garden Reserve, the park was gazetted in 1873. Many tree species native to the area are found in the park, maintained by the Bundaberg City Council in a semi-natural state as a recreational park. Spot a kangaroo! Free entry
